Alert pop up is not working while deleting configuration items

Hi community,

Our customer is facing the issue with the alert pop up message, when he is trying to delete any configuration item, an alert  should be popped up with the following child will also be effected as shown in the below, but he is not getting that popup.
can any one help me on this how I can configure that or any script is there?

Note: It is OOB functionality right? correct me if I'm wrong

I'm pretty sure this is OOB, you might want to check the customers UI action for "Delete" on the various cmdb_ci tables, to make sure it was not modified.

This is definitely a OOB functionality , if it is not working on customer environment , i suggest raising a ticket with Hi Support Servicenow - https://support.servicenow.com/
