Ampersand symbol not displaying properly in a reference field (Istanbul)

I have a reference field looking to my assignment group. One of the groups has an & ampersand character in their name.

On my ticket form if I use the reference field to find the group, the name with the & symbol shows up fine. After submitting the ticket, the reference field now shows the group name with a & instead of &.

Any ideas?

We are also facing the same issue and are on Patch 4 and the problem still exists. On the top the display is fine in list view but on the actual form for all the reference fields with "&" displays - "&"

By any chance you heard back from SNOW or any solution?

The PRB for this case is probably PRB748992, which has not yet been resolved.   More information can be found in KB0622856 here:

ServiceNow KB: Reference fields with & in their display value show as &   when glide.ui.escape_t...

It should only be happening (for otherwise normal reference fields) if your system property "glide.ui.escape_text" is set to false.   Anyway, the PRB is still confirmed and awaiting an official fix target.
