Applying User Criteria on Modify Standard Change - Template to modify

Hi everyone, I need some assistance.

User criteria is applying when selecting a standard change category, which is excellent.

As an Admin/User with access to the template, the category appears and the standard change inside.find_real_file.png

As a user without access:

However, it doesn't apply when selecting "modify/retire" an existing change template. Please note that the "Add network switch to datacenter cabinet" Has the user criteria set, and I am impersonating a user who shouldn't have access to this template.

Funnily enough, it does restrict the category. As you can see, the above standard template is under the Linux Servers Category, but the user doesn't have access to the category.find_real_file.png

Is anyone able to point me in the right direction for setting this up so I can also restrict what template is chosen?

To give some background, my main instance is running on domain separation, and we are trying to clean up the template list for standard changes, so domains don't see other domains' standard changes.

Hi

have you enabled on the form at table std_change_record_producer the related lists for "Available for" and "Not available for"? OOTB it seems that they are not enabled on the form view.

Define the user criteria there if not already done and test again.

Kind regards
Maik

Hi Maik,

They are enabled on both "sc_category" and "std_change_record_producer". This is how the category is filtered out, but the template is not.
