Articles are opening in the backend form view in escportal

Hi,

 

Knowledge articles when searched with number in the esc portal are opening in the backend form view (that is id=form)whereas the expected behavior is different.

It is working fine and was opening as frontend view when searched with the short description of the article.

 

where is this configured in the widget,..like on search of articles with number ,the page it redirects to?

This will be down to your EVAM (Entity View Action Mapper), view configuration being incorrectly configured for Employee Center. 

 

If you are using AI search for employee center and it's a custom portal, go to 'AI search results actions configurations'(sp_ai_search_results_action_config) table and add the customized portal in the 'Service portal(s)' field in the related 'AI search source' record. It should look like this, if using custom portal add it in the Service Portal(s) field:

It can be tricky, so I would recommend a Support case is raised if the above does not work for you.

Can I configure the out of the box portal (SP) using AI Search? I seem to be stuck trying to configure AI Search to correctly open catalog items using the SP Portal.
