ATF - Get to ticket page on Service Portal

We have upgraded to Madrid and we are currently trying to develop some tests in ATF. One of the things we would like to do is get to the ticket page after a catalog item is submitted on the portal, and use the Custom UI steps to test comment functionality on the created record.

We ran into problems with all 3 approaches we attempted.

1) The Order Catalog Item (SP) / Submit Record Producer (SP) steps do not appear to proceed to the ticket page post-submission, so when we grab the components for the Set Component Values (Custom UI) step, all we get is Typeahead Search.

2) The Open a Form (SP) step fails if we try to use that because the ticket page does not have a form widget on it.

3) We cannot create custom test step configurations in the "UI" step environment. Even if we remove the reference qualifier on that field, we get the message "Only users with maint role can set the step environment to UI". So it seems like ServiceNow has essentially locked us out of fully testing the portal.

Has anyone been able to test the scenario mentioned above (ticket page), and if so, how have you accomplished it?

Hi,

I faced the same issue while working with service portal in ATF, the basic functionality to open a portal page and access it is still not available in Madrid.

Moreover widgets other than oob widgets are sill not supported in ATF.

I would really like some input on this. I am experiencing the same issue. I need to get to the Ticket Form page in the portal after the incident record producer is created via atf so that I can review the Ticket Form to ensure the appropriate fields display on the screen.Please advise.
