Attachment Size and Limit

Hi,

The maximum size limit is 8 GB which we can upload in our instance. i'm testing the attachment for various tables like Incident. My question is : does the 8GB file attachment is limited to a specific set of table or its universal ?

One more question:-

Since in our instance we have an attachment limit of 8 GB, so does it apply to one attachment. Example :- if a user is attaching 5 files , can all the file be of 8 GB EACH or the total attachments should be of 8 GB Maximum.

Any help is really appreciated.

Hi Dhruv,

It is universal for all tables. attachment limit apply on one attachment. you can add 7 GB attachment many times in a record.

Hi Dhruv,

Each file can be of size 8 GB each. I have tested this . you can also check it.

Open any demo instance/personal instance.

UI properties -> security

Make max attachment size as 1 MB. and start testing.
