Automatic import sets

Hi all,

I have a question about import sets.

I want to make regular (once a week) data updates to a table created in my instance.

Is there a way to automate an import set to run at x hours, on y day, using the same data source, with the created transform map

and to the same target tabel? and that repeats itself after a few days?

This way i could only change my data in the data file and then the update in my instance would be done.

If this is not possible, is there a close solution to this? Maybe not everything in this process can be automated but perhaps

some of the steps on it might be automated.

I wonder if you can guide me through the setting up of a Data Source with this file retrieval method.

Have you ever created a Data Source like this?

I have a connection to the FTP Server open but i have a couple problems:

1. When I try to define the mapping fields in the transform map i can't choose any field, there is simply no option to choose from -   this shows that the data source is not connecting to the desired excel file on my laptop.

2. So when i force the import to run, the 1st phase load data doesn't happen and i can't get forward..

Anyway to troubleshoot this?

Can i check inside ServiceNow if the connection to the file/server is actually active without problems?

go the scheduled imports and fill the form as per you requiment and for select the appropriate datasource there.

The scheduled import only allows the import of a data source?

There is no field regarding transform map or the target table. How will the scheduled import set do it if we are not defining those fields ?

In data source, you will give import set table name and transform map will be tagged to the data source.
