Anyone out there managing ServiceNow groups whether within ServiceNow or from AD and you like your group structure? We've managed groups over the years in a variety of ways, but want to see what others are doing.
Some things that we've ran into are below, but I'm not just talking about the project area, but rather the system as a whole.
- Members of an assignment group need different levels of access. For example one member may need it_project_manager while another needs it_project_user.
- Should we use a group per role? For example, a "IT Project Manager" group and a "IT Project User" group to grant the appropriate role and the associates would ALSO be part of their normal assignment group.
