HI @--oooo--,
No, not every Configuration Item (CI) can be considered an asset in ServiceNow.
In ServiceNow, CIs represent any IT component that needs to be managed and tracked in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), such as hardware, software, applications, and services. On the other hand, assets are tangible or intangible items that have value and are owned or managed by an organization, such as laptops, servers, licenses, and contracts.
While some CIs may also be assets, not all CIs have a direct financial value or are owned by an organization. For example, a network switch may be a CI in the CMDB, but it is not an asset unless it is owned by the organization and has a financial value that needs to be tracked.
Therefore, it's important to distinguish between CIs and assets in ServiceNow and only consider CIs as assets if they meet the criteria of being owned, having financial value, and needing to be tracked as part of asset management.
I hope this helps!
Regards,
Hemant

Hi please help me for this opposite question,
Is every Asset considered as a CI?
one more question, If an asset has a quantity of n, how many asset and CI records were created?"
