Hi all,
I have a custom (global scope) app that I installed via Retrieved Update Sets module and previewed/committed. Shortly after doing this, I wanted to delete it from my instance. In the past, all I would do would be to go to System Applications > Applications, open the app record, click "Delete," and then type "delete." At this point, the app would be gone. However, on London, this doesn't seem to be the case.
I followed the same steps, but after typing and clicking, this time I get this dialog box:
Note, I have not done a single thing with this application. I literally just committed the update set and then went to delete the app that was installed. This has been normal and how it's worked in the past to delete apps. I have no idea where this metadata is or to what it refers. Any insights would be super helpful!

Hello, I wonder if you tried back out the update set once. Also, have you seen the App that you added is scoped app, in that case the direct deletion may not be possible. I quickly did the same, just added One Seach App which I always hold to and that is great app actually. I was able to back out and the app got removed my list.
Note: You can find the back out update set in Local Update Sets module.
Regards, Akash

Thanks, Akash. I was skeptical of this working since I've had very bad luck in the past backing out an app of 3,300 files. After a first attempt and about 18 weird "These files will NOT be deleted" errors, it backed out just fine in about 16 minutes. The app was also gone from the applications list.
I guess backing out update sets was fixed by London.
