can we send notification via pager?

Hi.
I want to send notification through pager. So in user form , i added notification device related list where in i selected the 'sms' type and in service provider i went to the 'cmn_notif_service_provider' table, there i have chosen one of the pagers as specified there. I just want to know does service now has some agreement among the service providers ? in case i want to add a new service provider ,how do i make it work?
does service now pay to the service providers for sms/pager notification or it is free of cost?

Not a lot of details on this, but it looks like you can add extra service providers. Just have to get the correct information from your service provider.
