Can you export users from a service?

We have just moved to a new instance and still have the previous instance up and running for a few more days so we can export anything we might need to keep.

I have a few services that people subscribe to in order to get outage notifications, what I'd like to be able to do is export the list of users for each service from the old instance and import them to the same service in the new instance.

If I can't do that I'm going to have to add every single person in the organisation again and they will have to unsubscribe again from each of the services that they've already done so from in the past.

Ideas?

Hi,

Please try the following.

a. Right click on the filter "Service = ANREU"

b. Click "Open new window", which would open a new tab

c. In the new tab, remove the filter to see all rows or modify the filter to see the desired rows of the mapping table between services and users

d. Export the desired records as XML and import them to the new instance.

e. Please note that this will only move the relationship records and so the assumption here is that the master records (users and services) are already present in the new instance.

Thanks,

Arav

Worked beautifully thank you, I just had to do a find and replace on some services sys ids as they didn't all match to the old instance, but once I did that it all worked exactly how I'd hoped.

Thank you @Arav
