We're using the Helsinki signature pad in our onboarding solution (to allow new hires to acknowledge documents), and we need to be able to capture an image of the signature and store in a separate database. So far, all I can find are the points that make up the line segments of the signature (signature_image.data). I noticed as I was playing around with the signature pad, that if I tested it by itself (not attached to a task), then looked in the signature_image table, there would be an attachment with the signature showing up. Does anyone know what controls whether or not a signature image is generated?
Thanks,
Curtis

Hi Curtis,
I just activated the plugin and tested the UI page and it saved an image for me as an attachment to the signature_image record.

Hi Chuck,
That's what I see as well. However, if you create an HR Task under HR Templates and set the acknowledgement type to 'E-Signature' (and associate a document with the task), when a new hire acknowledges that document, no signature attachment is created. The signature_image entry contains a data field with the points that make up the signature, but no image.
Thanks,
Curtis

I'm afraid I don't know enough about the HR case management process to know when the signature is triggered. I've tried a few sample cases and never get prompted or have an opportunity to use the signature pad.

Hi Nelson,
Did you get any solution for this.
