Hello. I am trying to understand how behaviors work and where they are stored in the service catalog. Previously I have noticed that behaviors usually work with Catalog UI Policies and I naturally assumed that every behavior is attached to a Catalog UI Policy. However, I was just presented with a catalog item with no UI policies but the behaviors are defined. The behaviors appear to be working so I am wondering if behaviors are being stored elsewhere other than Catalog UI policies. Does anyone have any idea on which table the behaviors are stored?

Hello @tahnalos
have you checked the Client Scripts on Catalog item.
It could either be UI policy, Client Script or Business Rules in rare cases.
Please mark the answer as correct solution and helpful if helped.
Kind Regards,
Ravi chandra.

No Catalog client scripts, nor UI policies.
The behaviors appear to be client side actions, so business rules would not apply.
Any ideas where they are stored?

Could you pls elaborate what type of behavior is that.
If it is utah version, then that could be auto populate feature.

In Catalog Builder, one can define behaviors in which you can show or hide catalog variables, or render them as read-only. When I previously worked with behaviors, I noted that they worked exactly like UI policies and noted that some prior behaviors was related to a UI Policy, meaning I thought that behaviors and Catalog UI policies are one and the same. But one of my coworkers created a catalog item that while it had behaviors it did not have Catalog UI policies, making me wonder where exactly behaviors are stored.
