Hi,
I have created some catalog items under Service Catalog for Singapore portal . As an Admin I have configured all Variables, Categories,variable sets,Available for( Singapore group ) as well . Also I have checked the Roles and visibility.
When the Singapore user in trying to test these catalog items , he is unable to view these catalog items from the left navigation drop down.While searching these items in search ,, these Catalog items appear in Service portal. He wants to see the left side as.... when the user wants to select the catalog item under particular category.
how to troubleshoot this issue ?
I have tried to impersonate him, while searching the item all catalog items appear but when we check the left navigation for the catalog items, catalog items doesn't appear.
Why does the service catalog doesnot pick up the categories which are configured under left
user want to see the catalog items there instead of searching .Any leads ?

Hi,
Thanks for all your responses. I would like to close this thread as I have found the solution to this.
Issue was , I have added the catalog items to the Singapore Service Catalog portal but the General IT Service catalog portal.Once I added there, Issue is resolved.

Strange...!!
Can you do like this , with that user profile , search the catalog item (as you said its showing when searched)
then open the catalog item & from breadcrumb go to that category & check :
ServiceNow Developer
