Change Checkbox Color in Next Experience Theme Variant

Hi Everyone,

We are trying to create our own Dark Mode variant for our custom theme. One thing that we are stuck on is the checkbox color. Because the background is now black, we can't see the check. 

We have tried these keys so far

"--now-checkbox--border-color--invalid":"255,255,255",
"--now-checkbox--border-color":"255,255,255",
"--now-checkbox_label--color":"255,255,255",

But none of these work. Does anyone know the CSS property for the checkbox color?
