Close task button not visible to some users ( on the sc_task) table

I checked all the roles and the UI action , but still some people cannot see that ; any thoughts pls

Did you check the conditions in UI action? Sometimes buttons can also be hidden by client scripts also.

When comparing roles with someone who does see the button, and someone who does not see the button, are the roles the same or different?

The following conditions must be satisfied in an out of the box version for the button to be visible:

• State is open or work in progress
• User has the itil role
• 'Approval' is not 'Requested'
