container split not working in service portal widgets

Hi All,

When we are accessing the maintain item form through widget in service portal container split is not working. In Service catalog we are using a container split in order to show layout as two columns but while showing the same thing in service portal fields are displaying in a single column rather than displaying in two columns.

Is there any work around for this issue.

I am unable to replicate your scenario, can you please post a screenshot of the variables along with shows order of the fields and containers.

Hi Manoj,



You should not have to change any HTML in the widget to get this to work. The 2 column layout is actually not supported in Service Portal until the Istanbul release, so you'll need to be on that release to get the split to show up.

Do you know if this functionality has been added to any Helsinki patches? It seems that the 2 column view on catalog items with in our portal sometimes work and other times not in our instance.
