Create a breakdown for a custom field (Performance Analytics)

Hi!

I have added a custom field to the incident form and i would like that field to be a breakdown on the incident premium dashboard workbenches.

Please advise how i can do this!

You will have to create indicator for your custom field and then create widget.

Also, you can related breakdown to your indicator.

You can pull this widget in incident premium dashboard.

TAke a look below for OOB widget for state field on incident premium dashboard.

You can reuse same configuration for your custom field widget.

Hi Sachin, thanks for your comment.

I have already tried to create a breakdown, but when doing so, the system did not let me select my new field

so i need to create an indicator first?? Also, which indicator source would i use if i want to look at all incidents? I This new field is a true/false field. so i want he breakdown on the workbench widget you mentioned above, so i can filter by incidents where the value is true and where the value is false

Ah i see, you're saying the only way is for me to create a whole new widget of my own?

You can not select "True/false" field as breakdown source field.

You can only select reference field in breakdown source since it should resolve as unique record for table ( e.g sys_id).
