Created a New Category and then Created Service Catalog But not showing in the SP portal

Can any one help me that, I created a New Catelory and new Service Catalog but it is not showing in the SP portal. It is new PID, any role needs to be given for this ?
Category is active as well.

Is the service catalog that the catalog item is in available to the service portal?
- To check go to Service Portal > Portals and open your service portal
- scroll tot he bottom and verify that the catalog item is in the portal that is listed under the portals tab.
Is the catalog item hidden from the portal?
- Under Maintain > Items add hide on Service Portal to the list and verify that it is not set to true.

If you created a new Catalog, as seen in the sc_catalog table list or Maintain Catalogs in the left nav, you need to add it to your Service Portal. View the correct record from the left nav Service Portal > Portals list. On the Catalogs related list, click the Edit button then move the new Catalog from the left box to the right box.
If what you are saying is that you created a new Category, then you created or assigned a Catalog Item to that Category and are not seeing it in your portal, view the new Category record to confirm the Catalog that it is assigned to, then verify that Catalog Item is assigned to this Category (not one with the same/similar name), then check to make sure this Catalog is accessible to the portal via the above instructions.
