Creating a desktop shortcut to a catalogue item for various users

We've got a catalogue item that we're wanting users to be able to access by clicking on a desktop shortcut as supposed to going through the service portal.

I was just wondering if somebody could confirm if this is possible and how we would need to do this.

Servicenow doesn't have any OOB solution for this, however user can do 'Save as' in browser and create shortcut so that next time they can directly click on icon present in desktop.
