Hi,
I'm not able to see the de-duplication tasks under my de-duplication template. Although I've configured it correctly for "Cloud Resource" class.
Below are the screenshots and artifacts about my configuration, please review and let me know how to fix it.
1) De-Duplication tasks: There are around 242 De-Duplication tasks, for Cloud Resource class, all with state open.
2) De-Duplication Template: I've created the template for Cloud Resource class to handle the above tasks.
2.1) Selected correct class, and check automatically add all tasks for this class.
2.2) I've not selected anything in the "Create Condition step". (no screehshot needed)
2.3) Merge attribute section, I've select some values if values are null.
Issue: Still I see only 3 tasks associated with my template, from yesterday night! These 242 tasks are not getting associated with the template.
Let me know how to fix this, or if I've configured something wrong.
Thanks and regards

Hi Everyone.
This is what worked for me:
1) Uncheck both of these checkboxes from template configuration:
1.1) Automatically select all de-duplication tasks that match the selected class - Uncheck this
1.2) Add all child classes - Uncheck this as well.
2) After that wait for some time, De-duplication tasks automatically got associated with my template. (took 20 minutes for them to get associated in my case)
Thanks

Tasks can only be added to a template if they were generated for the exact same class or a child class of the template's class.
- If your template targets the parent Cloud Resource class, but the deduplication tasks were generated for a child class (like cmdb_ci_cloud_function), the tasks will not be visible.
- Try modifying the template to target the most specific class possible, or create a new template specifically for the exact child class containing your cloud tasks.
"it the template was created for linux server, you cannot add a task created for computer to the template. The main reason being that there are certain fields in linux server which are not there in computer."
