deleting receipt handle in a scheduled job

Morning all
I am struggling with a requirement we have on an integration that I have not done before. We are pulling in various records to process our side. where we pull from can only have 10 tickets queued. I am being told I need to delete the receipt handle when the records have been processed to allow any other tickets to queue. I am struggling with how I include this in the script include that my scheduled job uses so that the scheduled job can pull all records rather than the 10 queued and then has to run to grab the next 10 tickets queued.
Any help would be appreciated
