Hi All,
We have upgraded from Sandiego patch 10 to Utah patch 1 .
After upgrade in some instance dot walked fields not showing in list view of related list in few forms like.. PRB, CI forms.
Issue is not constant , in some subprods its working fine but not in prod where both are in same Utah patch 1 .
What could be the issue..
Can some one help us to resolve issue..
even as a admin unable to see records in some instance
Thanks
Roopa

Hi @Roopa11 ,
Few things to check:
-
Ensure that the dot-walked fields are configured to be visible in the list view. Navigate to the list view configuration for the affected table, and verify that the dot-walked fields are selected to be displayed in the list.
-
Review the field-level security settings for the dot-walked fields. Make sure that the user or the user's role has the necessary read access to those fields. If the fields are secured and the user doesn't have the appropriate access, they won't be visible in the list view
-
Clear the server-side and client-side caches to ensure that any cached configurations or metadata related to the list view are refreshed. This can be done by restarting the affected instance or using the ServiceNow cache refresh functionality.

Ensure that the dot-walked fields are configured to be visible in the list view. Navigate to the list view configuration for the affected table, and verify that the dot-walked fields are selected to be displayed in the list.
Roopa : dot-walked fields not present in available or selected
Review the field-level security settings for the dot-walked fields. Make sure that the user or the user's role has the necessary read access to those fields. If the fields are secured and the user doesn't have the appropriate access, they won't be visible in the list view
Roopa : no field level security in both instance
Clear the server-side and client-side caches to ensure that any cached configurations or metadata related to the list view are refreshed. This can be done by restarting the affected instance or using the ServiceNow cache refresh functionality.
Roopa : We did cache clear right after upgrade
Regards,
Roopa

Hello,
Usually this should not happen but can you confirm?
1. You have checked List Layout using admin and it shows dot walked fields?
2. Did you checked skipped records or anything around this related list on your PROD?
3. For Upgrade issues, I will always suggest to connect with ServiceNow HI for faster resolution as thier can be customer impact.
Thank you
Prasad
