Drag & drop attachment for all catalog form

As a Service Portal user, I want the ability to drag and drop files directly onto catalog item request forms, without needing to open browser dialogs. This functionality should be available across all catalog items through a common configuration, not limited to individual catalog item forms.

I've already checked the system properties, and the drag-and-drop setting is set to true, but it's still not working as expected.

Can anyone suggest a solution or configuration that enables this globally across catalog items?

Hi @Abarna Dhanapal

Yes, you'll need to download it for ServiceNow Share

I've made the Update Set available on Share as well as on ServicePortal.io

I checked my PDI instance before importing the update set, and the drag-and-drop functionality is working as expected. Interestingly, the catalog item doesn’t have the 'Catalog Attachments' variable set, yet the attachment feature still works. I’d like to understand which functionality or configuration is enabling this behavior, as I’m reviewing it here before working on the development instance.

Hi @Abarna Dhanapal

I have no idea about the same. It might be some script written in the backend to handle that.

@Abarna Dhanapal

it's OOTB feature and I don't believe any backend script is handling that?

Did you check docs for that?
