While setting up the Service Portal, I am having an issue with a single Service Catalog item being displayed twice. I have verified that only one item with that name exists in the Catalog and both items point to the same sys_id.
Does anybody know why this is happening and how I can prevent it?

There another instance on the sc_cat_item page
On the SC Category Item widget
- Ctrl + Right Click on the Item Title
- Select Instance in Page Editor
- On the SP Page Map > Select the parent level item branching to the two SC Catalog Item
- On the form for the parent item, click on Instances under Related Lists
- Highlight the duplicate item, (right-side split screen scroll to the bottom) then Select Delete
Note:
do not delete the OOTB instance with a Package labeled (Service Portal - Core)
