Hello Team,

I want to publish a blog for the #BuildWithBuildAgent challenge, but I am not able to see the “Write a Blog” option on the Developer Blog page.

Kindly enable blog posting permissions on my ServiceNow Community account.

My profile link: https://www.servicenow.com/community/mynow-profile/arpitmittal
Email: arpitmittal2206@gmail.com

Thank you!

Hi @arpitmittal

Unfortunately, posting blogs here is generally restricted to certain groups -- MVPs, ServiceNow employees, etc.

An easy work-around is to just post a question, but write it like it's a blog. (Even put "Blog: xxx" as the subject to avoid confusion.)

But perhaps more importantly in this situation, the #BuildWithBuildAgent challenge is supposed to be a social media activity as per the instructions, so post on LinkedIn, etc., with the hashtag so the ServiceNow team can monitor it. Also as per the instructions, drop a reply to this post.

That's the best way to get involved.

Writing blog available only with MVP and SN employee. You can request to @Sarah G_  who is community manager if she can help to get access. In my previous experience few ppl get access to write blog as well else write under ask a question and add prefix like Blog or article so that reader know it's blog or question.

My main concern is: why even mention Sarah when, as you say yourself, contacting her will basically have zero effect if someone is asking for blog posting access.

Your concern is valid but as I said I saw a many ppl earlier who got blog access reaching out to Sarah. Might be she helped or she redirected to other to concerned team.

So mate, don't worry. Please respect others view as well.

Perhaps it would be helpful to everyone, and courteous to Sarah, to ask her if tagging her in is actually useful, or if it's just a waste of everyone's time?
