We have a notification set up that isn't sending when the event is fired. This is the set up for the notification:
My workflow shows that the event was triggered:
I found the event in the event list:
But, the notification was not triggered. I see other notifications, but not this one (or the other event for reminder to the opened by and requested for that is triggered through this workflow).
I'm not sure what is wrong, any help is greatly appreciated!

There was an underlying error in the dev environment that resolved itself and the notification started sending.

You indicated you see other notifications, are they using the same event name as the one you are having difficulty with?
Take a look at the record this event is tied to. Is the Requested for and Opened by valid user records (i.e.; active and has an email address)?
If you have an invalid user, then the system will not send a notification. If you do have an invalid user, then change the Requested for to be yourself, then go into the event and re-process the event.

The other notifications are being sent to the approvers and triggered from the approval records. The requested for and opened by are both myself and my record has a valid email address and has notifications enabled. I also checked my notification preferences and the emails that aren't being sent are both enabled.
