Event fired but notification not sent

We have a notification set up that isn't sending when the event is fired. This is the set up for the notification:

My workflow shows that the event was triggered:

find_real_file.png

I found the event in the event list:

find_real_file.png

But, the notification was not triggered. I see other notifications, but not this one (or the other event for reminder to the opened by and requested for that is triggered through this workflow).

I'm not sure what is wrong, any help is greatly appreciated!

There was an underlying error in the dev environment that resolved itself and the notification started sending.

Unfortunately in this case I didn't make any changes to make the notification start sending - our instance just suddenly started sending the messages. If you share your set up (workflow action or script that is triggering the event, the event registry entry, and the notification set up) we might be able to help troubleshoot. You might also want to share the test scenario where you are trying to trigger the notification (this might help if, for instance, the notification is supposed to go to someone but not the event creator and the person it's supposed to go to is the event creator). Also, what are you seeing in the event and email logs? Do you see entries for the event? Does the email show in the log as ignored?

Exactly the same what you did. Created an event from the workflow, the event got triggered, the same event is in the notification, but still no email. Nothing in email logs, not able to preview it also.
