We have a notification set up that isn't sending when the event is fired. This is the set up for the notification:
My workflow shows that the event was triggered:
I found the event in the event list:
But, the notification was not triggered. I see other notifications, but not this one (or the other event for reminder to the opened by and requested for that is triggered through this workflow).
I'm not sure what is wrong, any help is greatly appreciated!

There was an underlying error in the dev environment that resolved itself and the notification started sending.

In my case, it resolved itself. However, I had a colleague who was setting up a new event triggered notification as well with the same issue. In that case, she had copied an existing notification to set up the new one (insert). She deactivated the copy and created a new one from scratch and that resolved the issue in that case.

Hi kristen,
In my test instance, i'm facing the issue. emails are triggered but it is of type Send-ignored in my test instance. I have checked the use profile , that is active. but still emails are in Send-ignored type.

In your email properties, do you have email sending enabled?

In the notification, there is a button (introduced in Helsinki) called Preview Notification. Click it, and select a sample data record in the modal that pops up. Example below. If the name is red and crossed out, hover over it and you'll find the reason why the mail was not sent. This is one of my favorite email debugging features.
