Similar to my previous post about trying to create a common flow, I am trying to figure out a way to categorize 250 Catalog items. My idea is to hardcode a variable into the catalog item. The question is how do I do such a thing?
If I use a Variable Set, then I could pull up the catalog variable in Flow Designer, but the question is how do I populate the Variable in the variable set when a Requested Item is created?
If I just use a variable, then I could default that variable to the value I want. However, I am trying to design a generic flow that can be used on all 250 Catalog items, so I need to be able to pull this variable from outside the variable set. There is also the issue of making sure that this variable is on all 250 Catalog items for this to work (which is why I would prefer working out of the Variable Set if possible).
Advice would be appreciated.
