Hi,
We've been applying role restrictions to every element of our ServiceNow app. But, when submitting to the self-certification tool, validation fails due to a Header | Footer widget we use not having a role restriction. I cannot seem to figure out where to apply this role restriction. The portal, theme, menus, menu items, pages, and other widgets all have a clear indication of where these role restrictions are to be placed, seen in the screenshot below.
However, the widget settings for the Header | Footer widget do not include such a field to set role restrictions, either when navigating through Service Portal Configuration or from the application file itself.
Is there another way to set role restrictions for Header | Footer widgets that I am missing? I'd rather not submit the app for certification with this line item failure.

Hi,
There should be a role field for this record type, you may need to configure the form and add it to it, etc.
Please consider marking my reply as Helpful and/or Accept Solution, if applicable. Thanks!

Wow, didn't even think of that! Thanks so much, spent way too much time trying to figure this one out on my own!
