I'll go right back to the start. We purchased SPM solely for the idea portal and I am trying to get the breadcrumbs to be dynamic.
We need the idea portal to be linked in our Service Portal so under our homepage I have created a url link from our quicklinks and prepended with SP so the user stays within the Service Portal (not idea portal).
Home on the ootb breadcrumbs links to the idea portal home, however I need the Service Portal to be home, so what I did is cloned the ootb breadcrumbs and changed the home reference to our Service Portal homepage, which works well. You can see where I have blacked out the change I made.
The problem I am having is that now I need a new beadcrumb for idea home (ideas) once user clicks create idea:
Once they have clicked this button and it goes to the next page I need this extra breadcrumb:
And again after they have created the idea:

I initially posted here and thought I understood, but I have tried to get this to work and failed!
I am hoping someone can help me with exactly what code I need to add in to the client script to get this to work....
