Hide custom choices for STATE in Planning Console (Project & Portfolio)

Hi Community,

 

I am reverting some customisations we applied previously to pm_project_task; one of the components is the state field for which we had created custom choices (a mix of OOTB matching those from task and a few actual custom ones, i.e. Cancelled).

 

I wanted to revert the changes so STATE would have picked up the same choices as those from Task given it extends this table. However we do have 2 custom choices attached to Task in addition to the OOTB ones and I don't want them to be available for pm_project_task.

 

I have created a Client Script to hide the 2 custom choices so only the OOTB would be available to end users, but the issue is that the Client Script is not honoured in the Planning Console.

 

On the form view of the Project Task, state does reflect the OOTB choices, but within Planning Console all choices associated with state from Task are available, incl. the 2 custom ones.

 

Is there anything else I need to create, configure or the solution is just to go with the custom choices for pm_project_task that would match those from OOTB?

Hi @Leonardbrit , thanks for the above. This is the Client Script I created and cannot see the field "Applies to" that you mentioned above - is this something that I need to add in the actual script?
