Hi All,

I have a requirement to hide few values from category field on change request table while creating a template.

Can someone suggest an idea please?

Hi @SindhujaV

I doubt this can be done because it’s a template, and templates don’t check the field visibility. Technically, I don’t think any logic would work here.

@SindhujaV Did you try creating an onChange script to check if the choices in the drop-down can be updated?

Hi Sandeep,

Thank you for your time for replying me.

Yes, I tried. But I could not update the choices as the datatype is template_value and under that we have to select category field and hide choices from that.

Hi Sandeep,

Thank you for your time in replying me.

Yes I tried but could not update the choices. As it is of template_value data type and get category first and then hide the choices from the category list.

Yep, Atul is right, looks like it can't be done.
