Homepage search result in portal

Hello All,
When I try to search for a request number in employee center portal in homepage search bar it redirects me to platform view of the searched request. But I want my request to open in portal itself so that request details are displayed in portal. This issue only happens when we search for a request number in portal. Can anyone help me how to resolve this issue.
