How align catalog variables properly within service portal catalog request?

I have a couple checkboxes and directly related singlelinetext variables that need to be visible within catalog item within a service portal request.

I’m not able to align them properly.

All variables are within one variable set.

I tried using containers – with and without splits … what ever I’m doing, not the result I would expect to have the variables properly aligned beside each other … in a user friendly way …

Could anyone tell me how to do that?!

Thank you!

Tried already

Container start > checkbox > container split > single line > container end

Container start2 > checkbox2 > container split2 > single line2 > container end2

and

Container start > checkbox  > checkbox2 > container end

Container start2 > singe line 1 > single line2 > container end2

Both not doing the job - also not when changing the layout ...

Only way doing it .. .separat variable set per line ... ;-(

Ugly but works.

Hi

I think your first approach would be the correct one, but I don't have the impression what you are trying to do is something that is intended.

If you try and resize the screen for a mobile view, the layout will change to the inputs being stacked, which is why I believe this is the correct - but ugly - way.

Container start > checkbox > single line > checkbox2 > single line2 > container end

Maybe this could be a compromise:

Container start > checkbox > single line > container split > checkbox > single line > container end

Tried that - Looks very bad ;-(. Additionally, I have field messages that might or might not be relevant.

Would really need the checkbox and singleline in ONE aligned row .. .

I cannot believe, that a state-of-the-art platform cannot provide this ... ;-(

I think it is to avoid complexity. Because you not only need top/middel/bottom align, in this case it also needs align to the center of a specific input.. I think it would get out of hand quickly.

I think this looks off balanced also, but maybe that is just me.
