How can I clone the OOTB Coral Theme?

We want to use our company colors and it turns out the Coral theme is extremely close to the company's standard colors.  It would be much easier for us to clone the Coral theme and make adjustments where needed.  I can't find any instructions for cloning a theme that work with a Yokohama or Zurich release.

Does anyone know how I can do that?

Those instructions don't work for cloning the Polaris or Coral themes (at least not that I've seen) because both are completely locked down by ServiceNow.

The Working with themes Docs article explicitly says things like "You create your own themes and styles to be used by experiences in your instance by either cloning the Polaris or Coral theme..." and "If you clone either the Polaris or Coral theme..." directly suggesting that it's possible.

But I haven't figured out any way to actually do it, so I'm very interested in this question, too.

In our case, we only want to modify the banner background color to be different for our sub-prod instances -- nothing major, but I still haven't found a way to easily do it.

You just insert the theme records one by one, there is no oob clone ui action but that's all the clone ui actions do behind the scenes. 

As for the header banner bg colour, this is the variable that gets applied to the header:

--now-unified-nav_header--background-color

Hi @gjz,

You can do this using the sp_theme table, in that there are several OOTB options, but instead you can use your own by simply adding the theme from Google Fonts. You can refer to what I have done for your requirement; likewise, you can do it. It's very simple and awesome. Let me know if this works!!!😉
