We are converting from CMS to Service Portal and I have a specific catalog item that I do not want to be searchable at all in Service Portal.
How can I restrict the access for a specific item?
Thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen,
In the catalog item, there is a flag 'No Search'. Just mark it true and it shouldn't show up in search.
Thats the condition used in Service Portal Search source for Service Catalog.

Hi Karen,
It is not on the form. You need to add it to the form using form layout. Or you can just bring it up in list layout and edit it from list layout as well.

I thought items that did not have a Category valued were left out of search.
