How do I change the AES Creator button to System administrator

I'm quite new to ServiceNow. So far, the system administrator has been on the right side button and was able to practice on users, roles and groups. I opened the site today but it was AES Creator that was at the right hand button and couldn't find user, role and group on the application list. How do I correct this pls?

Hi!

I am facing the same issue with my newly created PDI. When I created a new instance, the default user was aes.creator, and the "change user role" option is missing in the Instance Action menu.

I tried this with a couple instances (released and requested a new one), but every time it works the same way. When the instance is created, the only username&password I am provided, is the aes.creator.

I can only change the password for the aes.creator user, and that is the only user I can login with to the PDI instance.

See example below:

I don't know if this was the thing that helped, but I edited my personal ServiceNow developer profile so that the "Developer" option was selected (in addition to my previous "IT admin" selection), and after that I requested a new instance. After this the "change user role" was visible in the options and I was able to sign in as administrator. Yay!

Hello,

I experienced the same issue when I tried that option. After the failed attempts, I use the feedback button at the bottom of the page. I got an e-mail from ServiceNow developer on how they are trying to fix it. Hope this helps.

I successfully changed this by selecting  "Change User Role" and then you have two options for "Creator User" or "Admin". Select Admin and then close and relaunch your Instance.
