How many ways to create new Applications like global

There are lot of Applications Instead of  Global Applications I should want to create other applications.

In how many ways we can create applications. please let me know and what is use of creating other applications.

@Sirri , you can create via studio & app engine studio which is low code Application used to build custom applications
