How to change Column Defaults for Asset Workspace

Hello experts,

I am trying to change the column default in asset workspace so that globally everyone see's the Updated column. Right now each user has to go into ListActions and add the Updated column manually. Is there a way to set the column to appear by default? Thanks for any help!

The easiest way to modify this would be to go to the table in the back end and edit the columns there.

In the URL for workspace find the table you are currently on:

In this case for me it's alm_hardware. In the navigator in the Next Experience or Traditional UI. type your table followed by .list to navigate to that table directly. For me it would be alm_hardware.list

Now on the table change your view to ITAM Workspace

Once the view has changed you can go into one of the records. Scroll to the bottom and select the Related List you want to edit.

Next right click on the columns for the related list and choose "List Layout"

Now you can edit the list columns and it will change for all users.

You can configure the default workspace columns even if you don't have workspace view

Steps:
Simply navigate to sys_ux_list_list.do
Search for the Workspace configuration you want to edit
Update the columns as required
