how to create report of incidents opened and closed in a month

Hi All,

I need to create a report of incidents opened and closed every month for the current year. Can I achieve it via a line chart. Any suggestions please

Your report considers the tickets opened and closed in a single month.




Is there any way to know how many tickets were opened in month X and how many were resolved in month X. lets say overall 100 tickets were opened in Month X but only 75 were resolved in Month X, how can this be shown in the report.
