how to create report of incidents opened and closed in a month

I need to create a report of incidents opened and closed every month for the current year. Can I achieve it via a line chart. Any suggestions please

Hi Anil, I need to show in the report the total number of tickets opened in a month and also resolved in a month. Your reports achieves the total number of incidents opened and closed within a month.

What if the incident is opened in the month and closed outside the month, that wouldn't come in the report.

Hi Sohan,

If you want to report on the number of tickets that were opened on last month and also closed on last month (same ticket opened and closed on last month), you can use AND in your condition.

If you want to show the number of tickets that were opened in a month and the number of tickets that were closed in month in the same graph you could use an OR in your condition and show it in a bar chart for example, and you could group by state:

Hi Rajesh, can it be achieved via a line chart . I would require only the 6months report of opened and closed incidents in a month.

If I do a group by it wil include other states as well, I have tried the below... Can you suggest any changes

if you are able ti create a filter like this, might it will works for you

Just filter by "Created" --> "on" --> "this month" and

"Closed" ->"on"->" this month".
