Can anyone advise how to make a publicly accessed catalogue item not use the checkout screen?
We have an item that is used for external submission. The scenario is that a public link is sent to an external (not of our company) person who then submits the form that the link takes them to. Once submitted the REQ is generated and that business unit does their thing.
PROBLEM: since going live with our portal the form is not submitting. In testing we are seeing that the Shopping cart is loading after submit. This is not supposed to happen. It didn't happen prior to our Portal going live. The people submitting this are not part of our company and so do not see the checkout page, they get prompted for login (sso is enabled) and so the item never completes the submission.
The item is set to No Cart + True, and the Available For is Public.
When I look at the item it is not part of any category or catalog.
Any help is Hugely appreciated as this is hurting one of our business units badly!
Cheers
A.

try the below solution
https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_question&sys_id=4de7472ddb1cdbc01dcaf3231f9619f6&view_source=searchResult
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
if this doesnt works then try below
Disable two step checkout model by modifying the below property
Procedure
- Navigate to Service Catalog > Catalog Administration > Properties.
- Locate the property Use the two step catalog checkout model (default false).
- Select the Yes check box to enable the two-step process.
- Locate the property Show the 'Back to Catalog' button on the two step checkout screen.
- Select the Yes check box to provide a button that navigates back to the catalog from the order confirmation screen (default). Clear the check box to hide the button.
Note: this change will impact all catalog items!.

Hi there,
Have you had a look at this option:
If you set it to Submit, no Order pop-up is used.
If my answer helped you in any way, please then mark it as helpful.
Kind regards,

Hi Mark!
Thanks for the response. I don't seem to have that option... There is no Portal Settings tab in my Item.
Cheers

My bad... I see you selected "London" for your post. This feature is available since Madrid.
