How to restore the deleted dictionary entry with same column label?

Hi I have deleted the dictionary entry record from table unfortunately. I am able to see the record in language file but its showing in deleted application file.     I am not able to restore the deleted application file and also not able to create the new dictionary entry with same column label.     Its a major issue for me. Please respond asap.     Thanks in Advance,

Hi Ajay,

If you deleted it using the Delete button from the dictionary table (or the embedded list) you should be able to recreate the table field again in the same way. I've done this in the past and surprisingly enough, choices and many other related artifacts are still available.

Please share any steps you have taken and errors that are produced as a result.

You ca go to 'deleted records' , find that dictionary and restore it.

I don't think so Anurag. Not everything you delete ends up in Deleted Records. I just deleted a column from a table and went to the deleted records and it was not there.

I tried the same now, you are right. Now i am curious to know how its decided what will be recorded in deletion history and what not.
