Hi I have deleted the dictionary entry record from table unfortunately. I am able to see the record in language file but its showing in deleted application file.     I am not able to restore the deleted application file and also not able to create the new dictionary entry with same column label.     Its a major issue for me. Please respond asap.     Thanks in Advance,

As far as I know, Deleted records stores the meta data (e.g. incidents, etc.) Basically anything NOT tracked by update sets (tables where update_synch=true).

I haven't done it by clicking delete button, but suddenly it gone out. I am not able to see it in deleted records. Its available in deleted application files.

But i couldn't restore it, since the field label is already available there. My problem is its not deleted in field label table but not in dictionary entry.

Thank you,

Hi Ajay,

So if I understand you correctly, the field is still in sys_dictionary, and you just need your label?

If that's the case, open the record in sys_dictionary (use the table and column name fields to filter), then add the label in the Labels related list.

For example:

Hi,

Actually the field is available in Field label and its not available in Dictionary entry. Since the element is already there in field label i'm not able to create the dictionary entry with same column name.

Thank you,
