how to stop email notification for an incident?

I want to stop notification being sent on incident closing. how can i stop without disabling the notification ? please guide

in Email notification when to RUN set as Incident state is Closed. can't we add one more condition that updated by is not admin?

Hi Adrish,



You can go to the event which is being fired and can remove it in the EVENTS(OR) go to incidents--->Personalize form-->Business Rules. Here, you need to check which business rule is causing this event to fire and you can deactivate that Business Rule. Then the email notification will gets stopped.

If you want a condition like that, it will work.

Incident Closed is the Notification name which is triggered when an Incident is closed.


If you don't want to inactive it, then just uncheck the Update. It will stop triggering.
