What command or module will display the authorized KB article approvers?

Hello,

I've already covered this above.

Catalog items have varying workflows and different approvers because it's not a "one size fits all" type setup. You can define who approves it, individually. The workflows are built out manually based off the requirements.

For Knowledge articles...there's only a few workflows out of box. The default one, which is what most use, have set approvers on them...those approvers are either the owners of the knowledge base and/or the manager. Those are defined on the knowledge base main page, which I've linked to and shown above. You are more than welcome to create your own workflow, but since most are using the default workflow, that's what I've covered above already.

As stated above, you can go to Knowledge > Administration > Knowledge Bases to see the owners/managers and that will tell you who the approvals go to.

Hello,

If you're using the OOB knowledge article workflow, then it's followed as in this guidance: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-servicenow-platform/page/product/knowledge-management/refer...

Knowledge - Approval PublishRequests approval from a manager of the knowledge base. Articles in approval are In Review state before moving to Published state once approved or to Scheduled for publish if set to publish later. If the manager rejects the request, the workflow is canceled and the article remains in Draft state.

If ownership groups is enabled, email notifications with a link to the article are sent to the ownership group members for approval.

If ownership groups is not enabled, email notifications with a link to the article are sent to knowledge base managers for approval.

A notification is also sent to authors or revisers of articles to inform them that their article has been approved or rejected.

To turn on approval email notifications, set the glide.knowman.enable_approval_notification property to true.

Per individual articles pending approval, at the bottom, there's a related list with their names.

Is there a KB Approval command, like My Approvals, which displays members who are eligible to approve KB articles?

Hi,

Knowledge Approvals also show under "My Approvals".

Example:

find_real_file.png

II'm not sure what else you may be looking for, but as mentioned above, they go to either the "owners" if defined, else it goes to the KB manager.

So for a quick snapshot, you can go to Knowledge > Knowledge Bases in left-hand navigation and add the owner column, etc. to the list view to see who the approvals would go to:
