Import Excel file to update SAM Pro Software Discovery Model

Hi guys!!

 

I am wondering if ever you know how to import an Excel file to easily update the Software Discovery Model of SAM Pro. I tried it but it always has an error requiring Sys ID to be present. We badly need this functionality since we are updating thousands of records. And it is very tiring to update one item at a time. 

 

Can you help me on this?

By the way, I used Configure > Import functionality of the Software Discovery Model table.

please use the so-called "Easy Import" feature and not a standard import. For this just follow the instructions from the following vide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwLUhNpv7H4

Thank you for your answer! I tried that already, but it is encountered an error that I need to provide the Sys ID:

I also tried uploading an excel with Sys ID column and values ( I generated my own Sys ID), but it still did not accept the import:

In the two previous comment, I tried to update the records. But I also tried "adding" records:

It is still not working as expected.
